In Arakan State, the junta has imposed restrictions on the transport of food and fuel by civilians affecting local commerce and food supplies. Junta scorched earth village terrorism campaign---------------
Junta troops are intentionally causing starvation among refugees it drove out of villages in Minkin township, Sagaing Region. Residents of Anaut, Tonman, Nyaungkaing, Linlu, and Pettote villages were driven into the jungle several days ago and have exhausted the little food they could carry when they ran. The junta has blocked all access routes to their hideouts as well as the return routes to their villages, knowing that these civilians will run out of food. Troops burned Linlu before the people could take any food. (Mizzima)
