Another junta airstrike on children; war comes to Pa-an District (Brigade 7 area) of Kawthoolei; Karenni shoot a helicopter; severe abuse of prisoners of conscience.
The junta’s war on children continued yesterday with an airstrike on the opening ceremony of a rural hospital in the liberated village of Manyugyi, Banmauk township, northern Sagaing Region. Bombs fired by Russian-supplied attack jets killed a woman and wounded 6 children. (People's Spring) Firing on schools and hospitals is an international war crime, but is a deliberate strategy of the Burma junta, and no international powers have done anything to stop it other than issue endless statements.
